One of Texarkana’s local businesses has been honored by the area cities. Texarkana mayors Ruth Penney Bell and Bob Bruggeman, Wake Village mayor Jim Roberts and Nash mayor Robert Bunch have officially proclaimed January 23 as “HealthCARE Express Day”.
Since the opening of their first clinic January 23, 2006, “HealthCARE Express has been providing the Texarkana area, and beyond, with the best medical experience in the field for more than a decade. Though urgent care is what started their dream, it has not been their final destination. Over the years, they have expanded to pain management, physical therapy, imaging, age management, dermatology, a spa, and a fitness center. Because of this growth, the company has provided substantial economic gain to Texarkana and the surrounding areas.
Leadership as a value, is the core of their company. HealthCARE Express has built a legacy of leaders not only in their staff but in the community as well. They launched their elementary-age leadership program, Klondike Leadership Academy, in 2016. KLA is designed to instill confidence in our future leaders by strengthening their skills in nine key areas. The program currently has over 400 Texarkana students enrolled.
Monday, January 23, 2017, will mark the first official HealthCARE Express day. It is also the 11-year anniversary of the company. They will be celebrating with a family-friendly event, open to the public at 4:30 p.m. at The Sportsplex by HealthCARE Express,5610 Richmond Rd., Texarkana, TX.
