FedEx Truck Hits College Drive Bridge

1:20 p.m. Tuesday | A FedEx truck traveling westbound on College Drive hit the railroad bridge Tuesday afternoon.

Police quickly had the truck removed from the roadway leaving College Drive only closed for around 10 minutes.

According to officers on scene the driver could be ticketed for failure to obey a traffic control device or for driving the semi-truck in a no truck area. According to officer Hobbs the east side of College Dr. from the bridge is a no truck zone.

Railroad officials are on scene and say the bridge was knocked out of alignment. College drive will be close for a short time soon so the bridge can be pulled back into alignment.
