Man arrested after fleeing accident scene

A Prescott, Ark. man is in custody after allegedly leaving the scene of an accident.

According to police, Damian Rodgers, 38, of Prescott AR, was eastbound on Mall Drive at a high rate of speed when he struck a Mustang also driving east on Mall Drive. Sliding sideways, he then struck a 2015 Dodge Durango on South Cowhorn Creek Loop. No one was injured in the crash.

Rodgers abandoned his vehicle and went toward the Hilton, where he was contacted by Officer Hobbs.

He was arrested for Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Damage to Vehicle a class B misdemeanor. He was transported to Bi-State Jail and booked without incident.
