Texarkana Arkansas School District – TASD campuses will hold Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 14. The schedule is as follows:
ABC Program (on Washington campus) – 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
All elementary campuses – 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
College Hill Middle School 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
North Heights Junior High School 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
*Arkansas High School – RazorBack 2 School Bash – 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Hog Howdy (orientation for 9th grader students), and 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Meet the Teacher for grades 9-12th.
Washington Academy Charter School – 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
A public meeting will be held at the end of each Meet the Teacher event.
*Arkansas High School is kicking off the new school year with a RazorBack 2 School Bash to welcome students and parents back to school. The fun-filled event will encourage students to participate in both school and community events. “Connecting school, students, parents and community together is win-win for everyone,” said Eva Nadeau, AHS principal. Local organizations, colleges, businesses, as well as school clubs, will be on hand to provide information to attendees. “We want our students to be successful and it takes the support of everyone to make this happen.”
