Today, United Built Homes announced the winner of its 60th Anniversary Dream Home Giveaway. Kathy Nicola of Texarkana, Texas was randomly selected from over 35,000 entries as the winner of the United Built Homes 60th Anniversary Dream Home Giveaway. United Built Homes will be working with Kathy and husband, Curtis, a Vietnam Vet, to build the custom home of their dreams, valued at $175,000.

Don Pitts, CEO of United Built Homes says, “We wanted to do something to show our appreciation for our 60th anniversary. We thought giving away a dream home to one lucky person would be a great way to do just that! It thrills everyone in our organization to be able to make a difference in Kathy’s life. We hope her family will enjoy the home for many years to come.”

The UBH team, alongside CEO Don Pitts, met with Mrs. Nicola on Monday at her current residence to make the formal presentation and congratulate her for winning.

“Although the selection was random, we felt very excited when we found out who would receive the home. Being able to provide a home for Kathy and Curtis is such an amazing feeling but we also feel blessed with the opportunity to honor Curtis for his service to our country in this way as well,” says Pitts.

Founded in 1958 in Shreveport, Louisiana, United Built Homes has built more than 40,000 homes for families in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana, and Texas.
