Aspen Dental Texarkana offers free dental care for Veterans on June 24th

With 450 Aspen Dental practices across the nation, they will be opening their doors on June 24th for Veterans to receive free dental care.
Local veterans can call 903-201-4347 to schedule an appointment with a participating office in the Cedar Rapids area. Appointments are required and are only available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Currently, the Texarkana location has two available appointments for eligible veterans.

With the 21,000,000 veterans across the U.S., less than 10,000,000 are enrolled for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health benefits that doesn’t include dental care. More than 1.2 million lack health care all together.
“The June 24 Day of Service will be Aspen Dental’s fourth annual, and is the largest single-day oral health initiative targeted at veterans. It’s part of Aspen Dental’s Healthy Mouth Movement, a community-giving initiative to deliver free dental care to veterans.”
