Auto theft task force arrests three in Fouke

Three people in Fouke, Ark. were arrested Wednesday morning by a task force of area law enforcement investigating automobile thefts.

According to the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 7:00 a.m. a task force of area law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at 184 PR 1060, Fouke Arkansas, after an investigation into automobile thefts.

Sonya Littles, James Raymond Caswell, and Jamie Caswell were all arrested.

The task force was made up of members of the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department, Bi-State Narcotics Task Force, Arkansas State Police, Arkansas Game & Fish Agents, Shreveport LA. Police, Louisiana State Police, and the National Insurance Crime Bureau.

Sonya Littles was arrested for 4 counts of possession of a controlled substance, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of Firearms by certain persons, first degree fraud for counterfeit currency, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

James Raymond Caswell was arrested for theft by receiving.

Jamie Caswell was arrested for possession of control substance with purpose to deliver-meth, 4 counts of possession of a controlled substance, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of Firearms by certain persons, first degree fraud for counterfeit currency, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft by receiving. He was also wanted for absconding on his felony probation for a previous charge of possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine.

Sonya Littles was also recently indicted in Bowie County after a traffic stop found large amounts of meth in her vehicle. She was also arrested in a recent drug bust in Miller County.

According to police the investigation is on-going.
