China King Buffet’s Food Establishment Permit has been reinstated as of 11:30 Friday morning.

The food establishment is back in business after being temporarily suspended after failing two health inspections on Thursday.

China King Buffet located on State Line Plaza, 5001 N State Line Avenue in Texarkana, Texas was closed at 11 a.m. Wednesday morning after health inspector discovered evidence of an insect infestation of German roaches and flies.

According to Lisa Thompson, Texarkana, Texas Public Information Officer the restaurant failed a routine health inspection that was carried out on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.

Health inspectors visited the facility Friday morning and gave China King Buffet a passing score of 86, thus reinstating their Food Establishment Permit.

The Retail Food Establishment Inspection Report indicated the establishment’s compliance with pest control officer’s guide to rid the establishment of the insect contamination.
