Texarkana, Texas (November 21, 2014) | CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System will provide trauma training and provide a trauma kit for area law enforcement on Monday, Nov. 24, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. in the North Conference Center, 2600 St. Michael Drive, Texarkana, TX.
The training and trauma kit will provide area law enforcement agencies information and hands-on experience to handle an emergency situation while in the field. Training will include a video demonstration along with hands-on training with high fidelity manikins in the hospital’s simulation center. Area agencies include police departments for the cities of Texarkana, Texas, Texarkana, Arkansas, Nash, and Wake Village, Miller County Sheriff’s office, Bowie County Sheriff’s office, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Arkansas State Police Troop G.
