Greg Abbott, Texas Attorney General and Republican gubernatorial nominee for the November election, made a campaign stop at Big Jakes BBQ on Richmond Rd. today.
Actor Chuck Norris, who was accompanied by his wife Gena O’Kelley, introduced Abbott. Norris lives on a ranch near College Station, Texas. Norris said he was here today to encourage everyone to not only vote but to get family, friends, and neighbors out to vote also.
Abbott is running against State Senator Wendy Davis who represents District 10 which includes Ft. Worth, Texas.
Early voting is currently going on in Texas until October 31 and Arkansas November 3. The Election is Tuesday November 4.
