Dairy Queen Richmond Rd. Evacuated Smoke in Restaurant

9:30 P.M. Wednesday evening Texarkana Texas Fire Department & Police responded to Dairy Queen, 2506 Richmond Rd, over a commercial fire alarm.  According to fire dispatch the restaurant was filled with smoke and all employees and customers were evacuated safely.

Radio communications between police and fire indicated it was an overheating A/C unit.  No flames were ever seen and the fire department remained on scene about 20 minutes.
