10th Annual “Pulling” for Education Trap Shoots Planned

The University of Arkansas at Hope-Texarkana Foundation will host the 10th Annual “Pulling” for Education Trap Shoots on March 10 and 11. This year the Foundation will hold two separate shoots. A community member shoot will be held on Friday, March 10, and a schools team shoot will be held on Saturday, March 11. Both shoots begin at 8:00 a.m.

The community shoot on Friday, March 10, will be three man teams. The cost for this event is $300 per team. Lunch will be provided at the community shoot courtesy of Farm Credit in Hope, AR.

The schools shoot on Saturday, March 11, will be five man teams with three categories, junior high school, senior high school, and collegiate. Registration for the shoot is $50 for junior high teams, $100 for senior high teams, and $300 for collegiate teams. There is a first come, first served 45 team limit. Concessions will be available.

Both events will be held at Rick Evans Grandview Prairie Conservation Education Center located at 1685 CR 35 N, Columbus, AR 71831. The shoots are sponsored by AEP-SWEPCO, Farm Bureau Arkansas, and Smiles of Arkansas.
