Each year the faculty and staff at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana are given the opportunity to support the college and students by giving to the Bridge Builders fund through payroll deductions or one-time gifts. This year, an astounding 83% of UAHT employees chose to be “Bridge Builders.” These funds are used for campus improvements, scholarships, gas card programs for students and other beneficial student programs.

Faculty and staff contributions to Bridge Builders funded four student scholarships this year at UAHT. Chancellor Chris Thomason said, “We are blessed at UAHT with a phenomenal collection of dedicated and talented team members. Our staff and faculty, on both the Hope and Texarkana campuses, are committed to our service mission and demonstrate that every day in their work with our students and our communities. But more than that, the fact that an overwhelming number of them donate a portion of their earnings back to the institution is direct evidence of their personal commitment and belief in the promise we offer to improve the collective future of our region.”
