Fields of Faith, sponsored by Red River Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will be Wednesday, October 3 at Hawk Stadium at Pleasant Grove High School in Texarkana.
Gates open at 6:15 p.m. and the program begins at 7:00 p.m. Students from surrounding high schools and churches will be in attendance. Last year the event drew over 4,500 students.
The first 1,000 students through the gates will receive a free meal from Chicken Express. The event will include testimonies from various student-athletes and coaches as well as entertainment from recording artists and area drumlines.
A team from Youth Alive has hosted various school assemblies around the area all week to speak to students about character, bullying awareness and other topics.
