Texarkana, Texas Fire Department responded to a house fire on 14th Street at Apple Street around 10 p.m. Saturday night.
According to radio traffic no one was home at the time.
The cause is unknown at this time.
At the same time Texarkana, Arkansas Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 5400 block of Old Blackman Ferry Road.
According to information relayed to fire units when dispatched the fire started from a cooking grease fire. The first fire truck on scene reported heavy smoke and flames coming from the front of the house.
The home was heavily damaged by fire. Police reported everyone got out of the house safe.
