11:15 p.m. Wednesday | Taco Bell on W. 7th Street was damaged due to fire damage received Wednesday night.
Texarkana, Texas Fire Department responded to a call around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday night of the restaurant filling with smoke. The first fire units on scene reported smoke and fire visible from the roof.
According to Texarkana, Texas Fire Chief Schlotter, “there was not a lot of damages caused by the fire, but some of the walls and roof had to be opened to make sure it was out.”
Radio traffic indicated the fire was in an electrical box in the wall of the restaurant.
Schlotter said the cause of the fire is unknown, but it does not appear to be suspicious.
