Flash flood WARNING in effect until 3:30 p.m.

Texarkana remains under a flash flood warning until 3:30 p.m. Saturday evening due to widespread showers and thunderstorms in the Texarkana area.

By far the heaviest rainfall was ongoing across southwest Arkansas from near ashdown to near hope and south of prescott to near camden. Movement of this activity was to the east southeast near 20 mph. Excessive heavy rainfall is expected to continue across portions of southern arkansas through the afternoon hours.

According to Hempstead County law enforcement hwy 332 is closed from prescott to hwy 29 intersection due to flash flooding.
