After the two-hour special meeting last Thursday, October 11, 2017, the Finance Director for Texarkana, Arkansas requested specific steps for the A&P Commission to take to appease the Gathering of Authors.
Amanda Bowers and Tammy Thompson, representatives on behalf of Gathering of Authors, wrote the letter and emphasized, ” It’s not always easy to do the right thing, but it’s always worth it. Lots of people in the community want these changes. We are just the ones in the forefront of it.”
The A&P Commission meets this Thursday, October 19, 2017 at City Hall.
