KPGG 103.9 The Pig is currently off air due to a LARGE cottonmouth Texas Rat Snake that had taken up residence in the transmitter.

According to Fabienne Thrash, “our engineer literally had his hands inside the transmitter box, had pulled them out, turned around, to see the snake’s white mouth, wide open, not a foot from him!”

According to Thrash they should be back up and running by Sunday at the latest.

We originally reported the snake as a cottonmouth but have since been informed by Jeffery Paul of What kind of snake is this? North Texas that this is a Texas Rat Snake.
