Man Apprehended by Telford Prison Tracking Dogs

A man who fled from a Bowie County Constable into a wooded area in Maud, Texas has been apprehended after a manhunt lasting around an hour Monday afternoon.

According to Bowie County Sheriff James Prince, Constable Robbie Caudle stopped a vehicle across from the Maud baseball field around 1:30 p.m. Monday when a male jumped out and ran into the woods

Prince said Constable Caudle recognized the subject to be 44 year old Joey Missildine who had active felony warrants out of Arkansas and had recently ran from Hooks police.

At that time deputies secured a perimeter and called in tracking dogs from the Telford Unit in New Boston, Texas along with the BCSO helicopter.

According to Prince Missildine was located by the dogs from Telford shortly after they arrived.

According to Prince a needle was found dropped outside of the vehicle.

The passenger Michelle Addy was arrested for a misdemeanor probation violation warrants.
