TEXARKANA, TEXAS – The Texarkana Texas Police Department arrested Timothy Paul Wilder, Sr., 60, of Texarkana, Texas for Sexual Assault of a Child, according to a TTPD press release.
Officers were notified of the allegations after the child told a family member of the assault. The female victim, who is now fourteen years old, was six to eight years old when the assault occurred.
Wilder turned himself in to detectives Monday morning with his attorney and was booked into the Bi-State Jail. He was released later in the day after posting a $35,000 bond.
The case has been forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.
