Motorcycle crashes fleeing from police

A person fleeing from Texarkana, Texas Police crashed their motorcycle at 27th St. and Magnolia and continued running on foot Saturday night.

A Texarkana, Texas Police officer was attempting to stop the motorcycle for traffic violations when it took off at a high speed.

According to radio traffic the officer did not pursue due to the high speed the motorcycle was traveling. The officer soon reported coming across the crashed and heavily damaged bike at 27th and Magnolia. According to a witness the driver got up and started running, not showing any signs of being injured.

Police are still in the area looking for the driver.
