One killed in accident on Interstate 30

One person was killed in an accident on Interstate 30 near the three mile marker, according to Texarkana, Ark. police.

Around 6:30 p.m. today a Buick was rear-ended on Interstate 30 near the Interstate 49 exit.

The investigation revealed that Harold Hunsinga, 71, from Celina, Texas was traveling Eastbound In a 2016 black Buick Enclave stopped when he abruptly in traffic causing a 48 year-old male from Wisconsin, driving a 2007 Ford F150 van, to crash into Hunsinga.

The crash caused both vehicles off of the roadway with the Buick Enclave striking the middle concrete barrier. Hunsinga was pronounced dead on scene. The passenger of the Buick, a 68 year-old female from Celina Texas, was transported to St. Michaels for non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford was transported to Wadley Hospital with also non- life threatening injuries.
