TEXARKANA, Texas–Texarkana, Texas Police responded to a strong arm robbery call at 5:30 am on October 1st, 2014. Upon arrival officers were advised by the victim that he was walking on West 38th Street near Pine Street when he was approached by a young black male who asked if he had a cigarette. The victim stated that the young black male then punched him in the face and held him down. This allowed another black male to through his pockets and stole an undisclosed amount of money and a pack of cigarettes. The suspects then fled the scene in a gray car. The victim was not seriously injured.
