A Texarkana, Texas convenience store was robbed at gunpoint this morning by a masked assailant.
According to Texarkana, Texas Police Public Information Officer Seargant Mike Jones, at approximately 10:20 a.m., officers were called to the robbery at a convenience store in the 800 block of Richmond Road. The suspect entered the store and pointed the gun at employees demanding the money from the register before fleeing from the store on foot.
The man, whose face was covered with a black bandana, is described as a light complexion black male who is approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hoodie, black shirt, dark pants and gray Nike shoes. He was armed with a small semi-automatic handgun.
