Police searching for person of interest in Waterman St. homicide

Texarkana, Texas Police continue to investigate the murder of Fredric Griffin who was shot and killed inside his home in the 500 block of Waterman Street last week.

According to police, detectives have identified Treveyon Tyrone Henderson, 17, of Texarkana Texas, as a person of interest in the case and have requested citizens help in locating him.

At 11:39 p.m. on January 28, 2016, Texarkana Police received a 9-1-1 call of a shooting at a residence in the 500 block of Waterman Street. Arriving officers found the homeowner, Fredric Griffin, 32, inside the residence suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his upper body. Griffin was transported to Christus St. Michael Hospital where he later died.

No weapon was found at the scene.
