Randy Sams’ Outreach Shelter hosted their 2nd Annual Spa Day for female residents who are living in the Shelter. The ladies were transported via limousines to have their hair and nails done at Texarkana College Cosmetology School, facials at the Beauty and Wellness Center, eye exams and glasses as needed at The Eye Guys, lunch at Twisted Fork, portraits taken by Debbie Brower and ended their day having tea at the Collins Home operated by HandsOn Texarkana. The women also chose an outfit from Mary’s Closet at First United Methodist Church Texarkana, TX and received a goody bag filled with personal items to take back to the Shelter.

The community can help by providing monetary support, or donations of food, clothing, hygiene and cleaning supplies as well as paper goods and towels, sheets and other household items. Many volunteer opportunities are available.
