8:00 a.m. Friday | A rollover accident on Hampton Rd. just east of 2148 had Hampton Rd. closed this morning.

According to a witness the driver rear ended a stopped TxDOT contractor truck that was putting out road work signs, causing the car to rollover.  The on scene witness said the driver said the sun was in her eyes and she did not see the stopped truck.

The driver was pinned in the vehicle and it took Pleasant Grove Volunteer Fire Department over 30 minutes to get the driver out.  There was a passenger that kicked out the windshield and exited the vehicle on his own without injury.
