Shooting Suspect Sought by Police

Updated at 11:40 a.m.: The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has arrested Curtis Theo Jones, W/M 51 year of age after he turned himself in at the Bi-State Justice Building, according to TAPD Spokeswoman Kristi Mitchell.

January 22, 2015 | The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is searching for Curtis Theo Jones, white male, 51 years of age, according to TAPD Spokeswoman Kristi Mitchell.

On Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Texarkana Arkansas Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 1700 block of Grand Street. A short time later the victim, a white female, came to the Bi-State seeking police. The victim had sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to St. Michael’s by LifeNet for medical attention.

Felony warrants have been issued for the arrest of Jones for the following;

  • Criminal Attempt Murder in the 1st Degree
  • Aggravated Assault on a Family or Household Member
  • Terroristic Act
  • Possession of a Firearm
