A 23-year-old Maud, Texas man was killed Sunday morning in a single vehicle motorcycle accident near Redwater.
According to a Texas DPS crash report Zachary Levi Duncan was traveling south on FM 3098 around 6:30 a.m. Sunday when he left the roadway to the right in a left hand curve. “The motorcycle went down on its side, causing both the driver and passenger to slide along the ditch then across a county road where the driver struck a stop sign.”
The passenger, 27-year-old Sabritha Michelle Sanford, was transported to Wadley Hospital in critical condition with incapacitating injuries.
Duncan was pronounced dead at 7:08 a.m. on scene by justice of the peace Susie Spellings. Duncan’s body was taken to Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office in Dallas, TX
