Anthony Wilson, Jr, 19, of Texarkana, Arkansas was extradited from Tennessee and booked into the B-State Jail late Monday. He was wanted on a Capital Murder warrant related to the March 29, 2016 homicide of Casey Smith. His bond has been set at one million dollars.

U.S. Marshals arrested Wilson in Jackson, Tennessee on April 18, 2016. He was held in the Madison County Jail until being returned to Texarkana on Monday.

Detectives believe that Wilson was one of four men who attempted to rob Smith in front of a residence in the 2400 block of Mamie Street last month. When officers responded to 9-1-1 calls from people who reported hearing shots fired, they discovered Smith lying beside a vehicle in front of a residence. Smith, who had been shot several times, was deceased.
