The officer was just turning around on the suspect and had not activated his lights so he will not be charged with fleeing.

The suspect who has active warrants out of Red River County ran into a house in the 200 block of Redwood Dr. and would not come out, prompting mobilization of the Bowie County SWAT team.

Wake Village Police and Texas DPS Game Wardens, and Texas State Troopers were also on scene.

Four subjects exited the house a short time after SWAT arrived and were detained by officers. Only the original suspect that ran was arrested for outstanding warrants, the other three were clear of warrants.
