1:00 p.m. Thursday | Texarkana, Arkansas Fire Department responded to the 2000 block of Beech Street for a call of smoke coming from a residence.
When fire units arrived on scene they reported heavy smoke coming from the attic area. Fire fighters made access to the house and also cut into the roof and quickly had the fire out.
The cause or extent of damage is unknown at this time.
