On March 16, Southern Arkansas University hosted the Southwest Arkansas Regional Science Fair. After participating in campus-level competitions, several students from College Hill Middle School and North Heights Junior High participated in the regional science fair.
The following College Hill fifth grade students placed during the competition: Celeste Williams – 1st place in Engineering, Joshua Sharpe 2nd place in Earth & Environmental Science, and Luke Knudston – 1st place in Biological Science.
North Heights Junior High seventh grade students Lawson Black won 3rd place Physical Science and Dalton Hagood won 2nd place in Biological Science.
