Texarkana Chamber announces new Director of Partnership Development

Michael Malone, President of the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce, announced Karen Andrews Lucas as the new Director of Partnership Development for the Texarkana U.S.A. Chamber of Commerce. Lucas previously served as Director of Sales for Hilton Garden Inn-Texarkana Convention Center. Lucas will be responsible for recruitment, retention, and involvement of the business partnerships with the Texarkana U.S.A. Chamber of Commerce.

“The Chamber is excited about the addition of Karen to our team in providing business development and retention to our region,” stated Malone. Lucas will be assuming full time duties on December 12, 2016.

Lucas possesses over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, having served as a Director of Sales, Marketing Director, and Realtor. She has been recognized as a nominee for “Best Realtor of Texarkana” in 2010, served as the Texarkana Board of Realtors elected director, and a recipient of the Bronze and Silver Awards for the state of Arkansas.

Lucas is an active volunteer in the community, serving as a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador for over 10 years, as a board member for the Christus St. Michael Friends of the Foundation, as a board member for Twin City Marketing Alliance, and former Secretary/Treasurer for Texarkana Hospitality Network.

The Texarkana, U.S.A. Chamber of Commerce was founded 110 years ago and is a nonprofit, business-focused organization with more than 1000 members, ranging in size from large corporations to small businesses, from nonprofit agencies to higher education institutions.
