Texarkana College Cosmetology Cut-A-Thon Happening This Week

Texarkana College Cosmetology will host the 5th annual Cut-A-Thon to raise money and awareness for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The two-day event will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 & Friday, April 24, 2015 from 8am-8pm both days. You can come by Texarkana College Cosmetology located at 1401 Richmond Road, Texarkana, Texas 75599. All proceeds from hair, skin and nails will be donated to the Center.

Texarkana College Cosmetology will host the 2nd annual Cares for Kids Silent Auction on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 4pm-8pm on the Texarkana College main campus in the Truman Arnold Student Center located at 2500 North Robison Road, Texarkana, Texas 75599. Area businesses have donated over 100 items to be auctioned. We will have $6 BBQ plates, live music and guest speaker Leah Miller, Supervisor for Juvenile Probation with Bowie County, will lead a discussion on Human Trafficking in our area. Items up for bid are a picnic table, canister vacuum, jewelry, BBQ grill, home décor, clothing, purses, gift cards, hand made items, leather bar, ice cooler, custom fire pit and much more. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Center.
