northridgecountryclubNorthridge country club recently announced the sale of the club to the Ledwell family. According to a recent email from Northridge, “Mr. Ledwell has recently made a very promising proposal to the Board of Governors of Texarkana Country Club that would permit TCC to manage and operate the club and facilities of Northridge.”

TCC’s Board has unanimously agreed to enter into a management arrangement and move forward – pending discussion of the details of this transaction with their stockholders on Wednesday, September 10th. The consolidation of management, resources, equipment, staff and facilities would serve to mutually benefit the operations of both clubs, improving efficiency, containing costs, eliminating competition, increasing revenue and increasing utilization of both clubs. This, in turn, would help to ensure the long-term financial stability of both clubs. Existing service levels will not be compromised. In fact we are satisfied that this arrangement will afford members more options for activities and services.
According to the email the dues structure at Northridge will remain the same until such time as an optional joint membership dues structure is determined. Current management will continue to manage the operations of Northridge until September 30th in order to assist with the transition to new management.
