The Texarkana Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a second public meeting to solicit comments for an amendment to the 2015-2040 Texarkana Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, in the Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, City Hall, Texarkana, TX, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss changes in the proposed project(s) in the MTP.
MPO Staff will be present to answer questions and receive comments. All citizens are invited to express their views and discuss the projects.
Also, the Texarkana Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is offering a public review and comment period on the Arkansas portion of the FY 2019-2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is a listing of transportation projects proposed to be developed in the Texarkana area. The public review and comment period begins Monday, July 9, 2018, and end Wednesday, July 18, 2018.
There will be a Policy Board meeting on July 20, 2018 @ 10:30 am in the Council Chamber of City Hall, Texarkana Texas. Possible items on the agenda will include but not limited to: Amendment 2 to the FY18-19 Unified Planning Work Program, ArDOT 3C Planning Agreement, Amendment 2 to the Metropolitan Transportation Plan, ArDOT TIP, and presentation.
