The Texas A&M University-Texarkana Eagles Soccer Academy will host a series of soccer camps this summer to give youth an opportunity to learn, develop and enhance their soccer skills and techniques.

The camps primarily focus on teaching the core fundamentals of the game, individual technique and ball mastery. A combination of fun and exciting games is used to reinforce the players’ skills in order to produce optimal results. The goal is for players to develop new skills, have fun and make new friends.

Boys and Girls Youth Camp will run from July 24-27 as follows:

Ages 5-6, 9-10:30 a.m., $50

Ages 7-9, 9-11 a.m., $65

Ages 10-13, 6-8 p.m., $75

High School Camps are designed for high school teams and players that want to learn, develop and train in a competitive environment and to receive exposure to college coaching. Training sessions will be conducted by A&M-Texarkana staff members, guest college coaches and other United States Soccer Federation licensed coaches.

Sessions focus on technical and tactical aspects of the game while playing small-sided and full-sided matches. These camps also allow players to gain information on the college recruiting process.

The Girls High School Camp for students in grades 9-12 will be July 20-22. Cost is $75 per player. Team discounts are available.

Boys High School Camp for students in grades 9-12 will be July 27-29. Cost is $75 per player. Team discounts are available.
