Three TAPD police officers promoted

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department announced the recent promotion of three officers.

Sergeant Jeff Gladden has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. He began his law enforcement career with the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department in January of 2006. Prior to TAPD Lt. Gladden worked for the Texarkana Texas Police Department as a Lieutenant and the Wake Village Police Department.

Throughout Lt. Gladdens Law Enforcement career has worked in the Criminal Investigation Division as a detective and as a supervisor. He was the FTO Coordinator for the Texarkana Texas Police Department as well as a member of the SWAT Team. Sergeant Gladden has currently been serving as a Sergeant in the patrol division.

Lt. Gladden is a Law Enforcement Fitness Specialist and dedicates many hours of his personal time to helping other officers reach their physical fitness goals. He holds an Intermediate Certificate and has received numerous letters of commendation and appreciation.

On Sunday August 28, 2016 Sergeant Gladden was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.

Corporal Andy Anthony has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He began his law enforcement career with the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department in March of 1998. During his tenure with the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department Sgt. Anthony has served in the Patrol Division and the Housing Unit of Special Operations Division.

Sgt. Anthony is a member of the Texarkana Arkansas Swat Team, Honor Guard, Advisory Board Committee, and is a Field Training Officer. He holds an Advanced Certificate and has received numerous letters of commendation and appreciation.

On August 28, 2016 Officer Andy Anthony was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

Officer Gordon has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He began his career with Texarkana Arkansas Police Department in 1998. During his tenure with the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department Sgt. Gordon has served in the; Patrol Division, Crime Suppression Unit of the Special Operations Division, the Housing Unit of Special Operations and in the Criminal Investigation Division where he was a narcotics detective.

Sgt. Gordon has served as a member of the Texarkana Arkansas Swat Team and is a Field Training Officer. He holds an Advanced Certificate and has received numerous letters of commendation and appreciation.

On August 28, 2016 Officer Jeremy Gordon was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
