UPDATE 6:11 P.M. -THE SIRENS HAVE STOPPED AND THE THREAT OF TORNADO IN THE TEXARKANA AREA HAS PASSED FOR NOW. Reports of flooded roads across the Texarkana area so use caution if out driving.

SIRENS ARE SOUNDING IN TEXARKANA, TEXAS. Tornado Warning extended until 6:15 P.M. Take cover now! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors… in a Mobile home… or in a vehicle… move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR QUEEN CITY…OR 8 MILES NORTHEAST OF ATLANTA… MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.
