Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest for 9 Grams of Meth and 56 Grams of Synthetic Marijuana

Texarkana, Texas Police arrested Quintonius Parker Saturday January, 17 for allegedly possessing methamphetamine, in an amount of four grams or more but less than 200 grams.

According to a probable cause affidavit and complaint that was used to create this account an officer with TTPD conducted a traffic stop due to a vehicle having a white light displaying to the rear. “Once I activated my emergency lights~ I noticed that the driver side door open and a baggie was released from the open driver side door of the vehicle. At this time, I called for another unit over the radio to respond,” the officer states in the affidavit.

According to the complaint officer Johnson went to check the location where Officer Stewart saw the baggie come from the vehicle. Once Johnson returned he advised he located a clear plastic baggie containing a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine in the roadway. “The crystal like substance was field tested using a Niks reagent test, and showed positive for the presence of Methamphetamine.”

According to the complaint Officer Stewart recovered a sack from underneath the driver side seat containing 56 bags of synthetic marijuana each bag containing 1 gram. “The approximate weight of the crystal like substance believed to methamphetamine was 9 grams”
