CASA for Children will host four volunteer information sessions in our Texarkana office on Monday, October 20th and Tuesday, October 21. Sessions will be both days, one at 9:00 a.m. and a second at 5:30 p.m. There will also be an information session in Atlanta, Texas hosted by the Cornerstone Assembly of God (105 W. Main Street, Atlanta, TX) at 6:30pm on Thursday, October 23rd. Anyone interested in learning more about the CASA volunteer opportunity and the positive work CASA does in the community to help foster children should attend any one of these five information sessions.
CASA trains and utilizes community volunteers to advocate for children who have been removed from their abusive or neglectful environments and placed in foster care in Southwest Arkansas and Northeast Texas. CASA’s goal is to provide a trained volunteer advocate for each of these children and return them to a safe and loving home as soon as possible.
