Man killed on I-30 after getting out of burning truck

According to an Arkansas Fatal Crash Summary a Shreveport man was killed after he exited his truck that was on fire and was hit by a semi-truck near Mandeville, Ark. on I-30.

Sergio Garduno was pronounced dead on scene after the accident occurred 12:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

According to the report Garduno was traveling eastbound in a 2000 Chevrolet pickup when it caught fire and he exited the vehicle.  He was struck and killed by a Freightliner semi-truck also traveling eastbound.

Garduno  was the 91st person killed in an accident on Arkansas roads in 2016.
