Shooting Victim Drives to Bi-State For Help

Texarkana, Arkansas Police are investigating a shooting that occurred near 17th Street and Grand Avenue.

Shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday evening police received a call from a woman who said she was shot in her car on Grand Street and was driving to the Bi-State Justice Building.

According to police the victims car had multiple bullet holes in it.

As officers arrived on scene they saw a white car matching the possible suspect description leaving the area. Police pulled over the vehicle but it was not the suspect.

Texarkana, Arkansas Police surrounded the suspects residence and made contact with an occupant who stated the suspect was not home. Police searched the house with no sign of the suspect.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with a gun shot wound. Her condition is unknown at this time.
