Man arrested for communicating a false alarm

According to Texarkana, Arkansas Police Department on June 2, 2015 at 10:00am Texarkana Arkansas Police responded to the 500 Block of Orleans Street in reference to a 911 call of a shooting incident. Upon officer arrival it was determined that no shooting had occurred, nor were any weapons fired at the location.

The investigation led to Eldridge Chamblee, 37yoa B/M, who was located by TAPD Detectives in the area on foot and in possession of a cell phone that was used to call 911 twice during the time the 911 operator had received the call of the alleged shooting.

Chamblee was arrested and charged with Communicating a False Alarm.
