A 21-year-old Ashdown man was ejected from his vehicle in a single-vehicle accident on the loop Thursday afternoon.
According to police, Kierre Moore was traveling northbound on Interstate 49 at the E. 9th St. exit when he ran off the roadway and overcorrected causing the vehicle to roll multiple times. The truck came to a rest on its side against the woodline.
The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
Moore was ejected from the vehicle and throw into the woods.
According to police, Moore was transported to CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
