The Wake Village Police department is currently investigating an overnight homicide.
The body of 62-year-old Winford Hamilton was found by his brother around 10:45 p.m. Thursday night at their home in the 400 block of Village Ln.
According to police radio traffic Hamilton was shot in the head.
