Texarkana Texas Police searched Monday for a 5-week-old baby boy they believed was buried at The Oaks at Rose Hill Apartments.  Their search did not turn up anything.

According to TTPD spokesperson Shawn Vaughn, they received information that led them to believe a 5-week-old child that died was buried behind the apartments in 2013. Cadaver dogs and ground penetrating radar has been used to narrow down a possible burial spot.

Crime scene investigators dug most of the afternoon but did not find any body.

According to Vaughn, the child’s mother is currently in custody in Temple after two of her children were recently found dead. Two-year-old Terric Boyd and 1-year-old Janea Boyd were found dead in a home on Sept. 30 at West Avenue P and South 35th Street in Temple, along with a woman identified as Haynes who was conscious, but unresponsive and two girls, ages 4 and 6, who were placed in the custody of Child Protective Services.
