Charles Benjamin Hines 85 of Texarkana, Texas departed this life on Monday January 26,2026 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Hines was born to Benjamin and Reba Hines on November 22,1940 in Texarkana, Texas.
He attended Liberty Eylau School and retired from International Paper. After his retirement he loved traveling and made several trips to San Antonio to visit relatives. He also had a time share and went to Florida several times a year where he made many friends. He was also an avid 42 player and would go to Ashdown, Arkansas where he had a group of guys he played with. Above all he was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Reba Hines, two sisters, Janice Hines and Lavenia Daniel
He is survived by one sister Johnnie Purifoy of Texarkana, three brothers Jack Hines (Laurie) Billy Don Hines (Arla) and Gary Hines (Anna) all of Texarkana Texas; a host of uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
